Greetings from MotorCity, Inc!

The calendar will soon read "August," which means it's time for the annual

MotorCity Show-n-Shine! Those who have attended before know it's a

fun-filled, down-home, local happening not to be missed!

This year's event will again be held at MotorCity's facility in Mount

Vernon, Washington, Saturday, August 4th, from 10am to 4pm (gates open at 9am, first 15 cars get a FREE MotorCity shirt). Since last year, we have added a new indoor showroom for finished cars, and have a fully staffed and active restoration shop called MotorCity Garage! There will opportunities to view several projects at various stages of completion!

Activities include: car show (bring your favorite or the whole darn

collection!!!), live music by the Geezers (classic rock & blues), trophies,

awards, door prizes (exhaust systems, gift certificates, shirts, tools, etc.), as well as the first annual "Smash for Cash" (together, we will destroy a 1974 Chrysler station wagon with sledge hammers!!!!).

In short, we have planned another fun-filled day of cool cars, good times

and fun memories! Many of you have participated before and we welcome you back.......please come and join the fun! Event will be held rain or shine,
